About

me

Hi, and welcome; I am Seraina

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, specialising in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I have many years of experience supporting adults who are navigating trauma, depression, and addiction, and I’m deeply committed to helping each person find hope, balance, and self-understanding.

My Background and Approach

I was born and educated in Switzerland, and my lifelong curiosity about different cultures and ways of life, shaping how I connect with people. What has always fascinated me is the human mind — by how our stories, experiences, and emotions come together to influence how we live and relate.

I’ve been drawn to this work because of my own experience with deep pain and healing. I believe that being truly seen, heard, and accepted is the beginning of therapy. My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed yet goal-focused and solution-oriented — blending compassion and evidence-based methods to move you forward toward confidence and clarity.

How I Work

Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I provide online collaborative sessions that allow you to engage in therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Together, we’ll explore patterns, work through emotions, and find effective strategies for growth and change. Every step at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe therapy is a journey we can take together, one which respects both your story and your natural ability to heal.

Moving Forward

Whether this will be your first time in therapy or a continued journey into a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to accompany you with empathy, respect and care.
If you’d like to learn more or schedule an online session, please reach out, it would be a privilege to support you on your path to transformation.
